Mas Théo Ginger
Ginger is an orange, skin-contact wine produced for the first time ever by Mas Théo, our favourite biodynamic Southern Rhône vignerons. It was a slow ferment in the underground limestone caves, taking nearly a year for the sugars to be consumed by the native yeasts.
The resulting wine is complex and absolutely splendid : an intense and tannic wine with notes of honey, medicinal herbs, orange peel and clove on the nose. For those who are willing to try something new, fun and challenging, this is the one to go for. It's particularly good as an aperitif with some salty snacks.
