Val De Combrès Les Vacances 2022
 
Val's juiciest red, made from 100% young vine Grenache. Half is whole-bunch macerated for 10 days, half is direct-pressed, then blended and rested in fiberglass before bottling in spring with no additives.
 
It's a bit darker than past vintages, but still aims for lightness and pure fruit flavors. A hint of residual sugar gives it a cherry and raspberry candy-like quality, with a touch of anise spice. Bright, fun, and easy to drink - Val calls it 'the grenadine of the estate.'
